The location of this hotel is unbeatable, it's located right at the beach promenade where you can take long walks or enjoy the sea breeze while sipping a cold drink. the view of the sea is really great and the breakfast is nice with fresh fruit, bread, and coffee. the room is comfortable enough with a good bed and air conditioning.
The staff could be a bit more helpful and welcoming, although they are polite, they don't go the extra mile.

Staff at the Hotel Morro do Careca was exceptionally friendly and went out of there to make my stay a very pleasant one. Taxis and Taxi drivers are important part of the logistics in Brazil to get around town and get things done, the hotel had it covered. The tropical breakfast buffet was great and always an incentive to get up and going. Location right on the beach and end of the bay and soothing sounds of waves without end. I would book the hotel again for a week or two of beach vacation or on conference.
One of the cabinets (the room had two), although new, I really couldn't use because it had some mold...The ac are window units and a little loud, but that's standard in this price range.

A localização.
A comunicação entre recepção e os quartos. Não há sequer um interfone e a comunicação só é possível pessoalmente, com o deslocamento pelas escadas, já que não há elevador, pela própria arquitetura do prédio.

Just got back from a wonderful stay at a beachfront hotel! The staff was friendly and made our vacation even more enjoyable. We loved being so close to the beach, which was a major highlight of the trip. Breakfast was included, which was a nice way to start the day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and a great view from the balcony. , the location was perfect, with lots of restaurants and things to do nearby.
That the wifi was not very strong, but it wasn't a deal breaker. , some areas of the hotel could use a little updating, but overall it was a great value for the price.

The location is great. The breakfast is very complete, and is served in an area with view for the ocean and some visitors as little monkeys and birds. The staff is very friendly. It's located right at the beach, just climb down the stairs, cross the sand and take a swim at a warm and clear water beach.
Old hotel, it definetly needs remodeling and redecorating. The rooms with ocean view are far better ventilated than the ones at the back of the hotel, which seems to open to a big wall. The price difference is small, and the benefits are huge, including a wonderful view. The shower is not great, very little water. The furniture is old and not charming at all.

The Hotel is perfectly situated on the nicest part of Ponta Negra Beach with the sea on your doorstep. The rooms are a bit sparse, but clean and with such a lovely setting one tends to sit on the balcony most of the time. There is a good buffet breakfast included in the price. The staff are most helpful and dealt with any requests we had.
There are 3/4 guys employed by the hotel to distribute the sun loungers and bring drinks and food. These guys will rip you off at any given opportunity with extortionate prices and the worst food I've ever eaten (I sent my food back but still got charged 25 Rais for 10 of the smallest shrimp I've ever seen). My advice is to eat from the beach vendors as the food is fresher and a third of the price.

Spent xmas at a hotel in a key location by the beach which was very nice. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was complete and tasty. the room was also quite spacious and airy, which made it feel comfortable.
There were some major issues with the hotel. there were bugs in the room which was gross.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is definitely the best aspect. It is right at the beach, with a clear view of the sea from breakfast. The hotel facilities were clean and the staff was helpful. I didn't need transportation as everything was within walking distance from the hotel.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.
